Tara and Angela agree—this one is exceptional. Aside from what it accomplishes with form and character, it takes the cake for feminist YA and heroically haunts adult readers, as well as the teens Joy McCullough intended to reach. Best in it's class for novels in verse, making it also great for relucant teen readers.
